Radiology Staff & Roles

Objectiveโ€‹

The Radiology Unit provides timely, high-quality diagnostic plain radiography to support clinical decision-making across all clinic units. As a primary care facility without on-site specialist imaging, plain radiography serves as a critical first-line diagnostic tool.

Equipment & Systemsโ€‹

Imaging Equipment
Fujifilm CR System
  • Digital computed radiography system used for image acquisition, processing, and quality editing.
  • Produces CR cassette-based exposures that are digitised and reviewed on-screen before DICOM transfer.
  • Supports a range of projections including chest, extremities, and spine.
Orthanc PACS Server
  • Open-source DICOM server deployed locally in the Radiology Unit for image archiving and browser-based retrieval.
  • Accessible from any consultation room workstation via the clinic's internal network without requiring specialist PACS software.
  • Configured to receive uploads directly from the Fujifilm CR system after each study.
Orthanc PACS
